Ms Spiral Welded Pipes

Ms Spiral Welded Pipe is a steel pipe made of low-carbon or low-alloy structural steel strip as the main raw material, through a specific spiral winding and double-sided submerged arc automatic welding process. This steel pipe is formed by spiral winding of steel strips to form a tube blank, then connected through a precise welding process. It has high strength and excellent structural stability. Spiral-welded pipes are mainly used in low-pressure fluid pipelines systems such as steel structure engineering, machinery manufacturing, building water systems, oil and gas pipelines, and chemical equipment. It is also suitable for piling, bridges, and building support structures.

Stable structure
The structural stability of the spiral-welded pipe is due to its unique spiral winding design. During the winding process, the steel strip fits tightly at a certain spiral angle to form a continuous pipe blank. This design enables the pipe to distribute stress under pressure evenly, avoiding the problem of local stress concentration. The pressure-bearing capacity of spiral-welded pipes is generally about 20% higher than that of straight seam welded pipes and can withstand higher working pressures without deformation or rupture.

High weld quality
The weld of the spiral-welded pipe adopts double-sided submerged arc automatic welding technology. During the welding process, both sides of the weld are heated and melted by the arc at the same time to form a continuous and uniform weld. Due to double-sided welding, the weld depth and width are guaranteed, and the weld quality is significantly improved.

Strong adaptability
Medium adaptability: Spiral-welded pipes are suitable for the transportation of a variety of media, including but not limited to fluid media such as water, oil, gas, and high-temperature steam. Its inner wall is smooth, the fluid resistance is small, and it is not easy to scale, which ensures the smooth transportation of the medium.

Temperature adaptability: Spiral-welded pipe is made of high-quality steel, has good thermal and mechanical properties, can maintain structural integrity and stability under extreme temperature conditions, and can work normally in different temperature ranges, from (-40℃) to high temperature (450℃). This makes it have significant advantages in the transportation of high-temperature and high-pressure environments, such as oil and natural gas.

Environmental adaptability: The material of the spiral welded pipe, which is composed of steel containing specific alloy elements, enhances its corrosion resistance. It can resist the erosion of various corrosive media such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂), chloride (Cl⁻), etc.
