Type and specification
Type: Stainless steel flat steel is mainly divided into two categories of equilateral and unequal sides, of which equilateral can be divided into square steel.
Specification: The specification is expressed by the size of the side length and the side thickness. The current domestic specification is 3mm×20m-150mm. The delivery length is divided into two kinds of fixed size and double size. The selection range of domestic fixed sizes is 3-9m and 4-12m according to the different specifications. The selection range of Japanese-made lengths is 6-15m.
Feature
High strength
Our products are hot-rolled from low-carbon billets. They have dense grains and uniform stress distribution. The tensile strength can reach 500-1000MPa, and the yield strength can reach 200-300MPa. They are suitable for heavy-duty structures and high-strength components.
Strong corrosion resistance
Flat Steel contains chromium-nickel alloy components and is pickled or sandblasted to form a dense passivation layer, which enables it to be used stably for a long time in acid, alkali, salt spray, and other environments, reducing maintenance costs.
Good processing adaptability
Austenitic stainless steel structure gives good ductility and plasticity. Stainless Steel Flat Steel can easily complete various processes such as bending, shearing, welding, etc., to meet the customization needs of complex structural parts.
Strong thermal stability
This product has a melting point of up to 1400-1500°C and a thermal expansion coefficient lower than carbon steel, and can maintain shape and strength under high temperature or thermal deformation-sensitive conditions.
Application field
- Building structures: Widely used in steel structures, bridges, stair railings, beams, columns, fences, and other building components. It has the advantages of high strength and light weight, which helps to reduce deadweight and energy consumption.
- Mechanical manufacturing: Suitable for manufacturing mechanical parts such as shafts, gears, bearings, etc., with good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, suitable for equipment in harsh working conditions.
- Shipbuilding: Used in hull structures, accessories, and other parts. Due to its lightweight and high strength, it helps to reduce the weight of the hull and improve energy efficiency.
- Automobile manufacturing: Flat Steel can be used for exhaust pipes, suspension systems, and other components to meet the use requirements of automobile parts under harsh conditions such as high temperature and corrosion.
- Engineering and industrial equipment: Applied to various engineering structures and equipment components such as transmission towers, lifting equipment, industrial furnaces, reaction towers, container racks, storage shelves, etc.

FAQ
Q: Can you provide OEM/ODM service?
Q: What are your Payment Terms?
Q: Can you provide a sample?
Q: What's the MOQ?
Q: How to control the quality?
Q: How is the corrosion resistance of Stainless Steel Flat Steel?
A: Containing alloy elements such as chromium and nickel, the surface can form a passivation film after pickling or sandblasting, and has good resistance to acid and alkali, moisture and heat, and salt spray corrosion.
Q: Is it easy to process?
A: Yes, the austenitic stainless steel structure gives it excellent ductility, and it can be processed by various processes such as shearing, bending, welding, and drilling.
Q: Are the edges of stainless steel flat steel processed?
A: It can be provided in the form of blunt edges or burrs. Blunt edges are more suitable for customers who need safe corners or precision assembly, while burrs are suitable for subsequent reprocessing scenarios.
Q: Is this material magnetic?
A: Most flat steels made of austenitic stainless steel (such as 304 and 316) are non-magnetic and are suitable for medical, electronic, and other industries with high non-magnetic requirements.
Q: Does Stainless Steel Flat Steel require special processes when welding?
A: Generally, it has good weldability and can be welded with conventional stainless steel welding wire without special processes. However, in order to prevent intergranular corrosion, it is recommended to control heat input and select suitable welding materials.
